Amansara launches curated stays in Cambodia

Enjoy the tranquility at Amansara, Angkor Wat.

Explore the temples of Angkor Wat with two curated packages from Amansara.

International flights to Cambodia have restarted and the kingdom is back open to holidaymakers. Amansara, located near the UNESCO World Heritage site of Angkor Wat, is now welcoming guests with two new stay experiences available for the rest of this year.

Amansara was once a residence for guests of the King of Cambodia and is set on the edge of Angkor, the former capital of the Khmer Empire.

According to those on the ground in Cambodia, tourist-heavy Angkor Wat is currently very quiet, so if you’re hoping to view the stunning temples in peace, now is the time to do it.

Amansara's 24 suites, manicured gardens and hidden lap pool provide a stunning backdrop to a busy stay in this fascinating part of the country.

The property's ‘Discover Angkor’ package takes guests deep into the temple complex with daily excursions. Further experiences include a traditional Khmer breakfast at Amansara’s village house inside Angkor Archaeological Park, a spiritual blessing with a Buddhist monk, a private visit to Conservation D’Angkor museum and a day trip to the remote temples of Beng Melea and Koh Ker.

The ‘Spiritual Angkor’ package centres around holistic wellness and spirituality and includes a water blessing with a Buddhist monk, Khmer bath therapy, a hot herbal compress massage, a forest bathing experience, a monk-led forest meditation, a holistic healing session and an evening talk on the principles of Buddhism. In addition, there are two excursions to the Angkor Wat temples with a guide.

Both packages are for four nights and include daily breakfast, a choice of lunch or dinner, afternoon tea, private transfers from Siem Reap airport and transportation within Siem Reap town.

Cambodia is now open; fully vaccinated visitors do not need to quarantine and are not required to undergo Covid testing. Visas can be obtained online.
