Four Seasons Hotel Singapore is embracing White Lotus fever with an immersive Weekend Afternoon Tea with flavours drawn from the stunning locations used in the HBO hit.
The afternoon tea menu is inspired by the flavours of Thailand and the picturesque landscapes of Koh Samui. Highlights include Thai Lobster Salad with Makrut Lime and Caviar and Tom Kha with Lemongrass and Coriander Essence. Sweet treats run from corn tartlets with whipped cord vanilla ganache and caramelised popcorn to Thai Tea-infused Madeleines inspired by the lotus flower. The tea is presented on a custom-designed lotus garden stand.
“Drawing inspiration from the breathtaking beauty and vibrant cultures of the stunning locations, we have created this unique experience to offer our guests an immersive experience that showcases the rich culinary heritage and natural allure of these destinations,” said Four Seasons Hotel Singapore general manager Peter Draminsky.

To celebrate the 18th Asian Film Awards, The Langham Hong Kong is presenting a month-long afternoon tea collaboration.
The Asian Film Awards Academy was inaugurated in 2007 and has been a driving force behind the recognition of Asian films in the industry. The Langham is a proud partner of the Asian Film Awards Academy this year and the afternoon tea set is inspired by the cultures of Asia and art of film. The tea draws its inspiration from the angular imagery of mountains which form the basis of the design for the Asian Film Awards Trophy.
Tea-tray highlights include Hamachi Tart with Kimchi and Caviar, an Iberico Pork Brioche Slider, Hong Kong-style Chicken Pie and Vietnamese Rice Rolls, with sweet treats including Hong Kong-inspired Mango Pomelo Cake, Korean Strawberry Tart, Black Sesame Ganache Cake and Japanese-inspired Green Tea and Yuzu dessert.
Cinematic-inspired Afternoon Tea at Palm Court, 3 to 5pm (Monday to Friday), 2.15 to 4.15pm and 4.30 to 6.30pm (weekends), until March 31.
Afternoon Tea with Art, Janu Tokyo

Japanese delights inspired by artist Tomokazu Matsuyama
To celebrate Janu Tokyo’s first anniversary, the hotel is hosting a special collaboration of gastronomy and art. This coincides with Japanese contemporary artist Tomokazu Matsuyama’s first solo exhibition in Tokyo at Azabudai Hills Gallery. Janu Tokyo will be linking the events with a special Afternoon Tea with Art, a collection of sweet and savoury treats served at Janu Lounge and Garden Terrace.
The tea is inspired by Matsuyama’s latest series of works, ‘First Last’ and all hotel guests will receive complimentary tickets to the exhibition during their stay.
The tea is crafted by Janu Tokyo pastry chef Yukie Noguchi and highlights include a New York cheesecake with white chocolate, the hotel’s signature Januron macaron and a sakura and berry mousse with seasonal fruit. Savoury options include roast beef open sandwich with beef sourced from Matsuyama’s hometown in Gifu Prefecture, salmon mousse with a vegetable mille-feuille and bouillabaisse jelly with caviar. Plain and cherry scones are served with soya bean whipped cream, koji serum and strawberry jam.

Frida Kahlo-inspired Afternoon Tea Experience, Regent Hong Kong

Mexican artist Frida Kahlo is the inspiration behind Regent Hong Kong's tea-tray
Regent Hong Kong is laying on an afternoon tea inspired by Mexican artist Frida Kahlo in conjunction with Hong Kong Ballet’s performance of Frida.
Inspired by the artist’s vibrant use of colour, The Lobby Lounge’s head chef Rajiv Chowdhoory and Regent Hong Kong’s executive pastry chef Andy Yeung have created a tea that celebrates Kahlo’s South American heritage and her deep connection with nature.
Enjoy a Frida Garden pastry with layers of elderflower and strawberry compote on a chiffon cake base, or a Viva La Vida cake with guava and lemon. Accompanying finger sandwiches include fillings like guacamole and pineapple chutney, alongside egg tortillas and sweet corn and ricotta empanadas.
The Asian premiere of Frida danced by Hong Kong Ballet brings the artist’s life to the stage at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts’ Lyric Theatre from April 4 to 6.

Pistachioholic Afternoon Tea, The Park Lane Hong Kong

Spring has sprung at The Park Lane Hong Kong
Channelling this season’s flavour of the moment, Ebb & Flow at The Park Lane Hong Kong is launching a Pistachioholic afternoon tea for spring.
The humble pistachio is a powerhouse of nutrition, packed with protein, healthy fats and antioxidants. But more importantly, it tastes great, too.
This themed tea showcases the versatility of pistachios. Highlights include Crunchy Fried Tiger Prawn Shooter with Homemade Pistachio Dip, Caviar & Smoked Salmon Tartare with Olive Ciabatta and Parma Ham Baguette Toast with Fig & Crushed Pistachio.
The sweet tea-tray includes Pistachio Cream Choux, Pistachio Chocolate Cherry Cake, Pistachio & Almond Nuts Tart, Pistachio Ice Cream Cone and even pistachio scones with clotted cream and jam. And there’s a Pistacchio Latte to complete the event.
