This stunning family resort sits on a kilometre stretch of idyllic Ha My Beach about 15 minutes from the heritage city of Hoi An. Four Seasons The Nam Hai id a great destination if you have kids in tow and boasts a kids’ club with extensive facilities including cooking classes for youngsters and its own (adult-free) pool.


Grown-ups can relax at the resort's stunning spa and wellness retreat with overwater pavilions floating on a tranquil lotus-filled lagoon. As well as treatments, the facility also offers meditation and yoga classes.


Accommodation is generously-sized; one-bedroom villas come with two twin beds on request and family villas have their own garden and an ensuite kids’ room. 


The hotel offers a busy menu of on-site activities and excursions, including visits to the ancient Vietnamese capital of Hue, the Golden Hands bridge, Hoi An old town, boat tours and sunset cruises. The family-friendly InterContinental Danang sits in almost 40 hectares of jungle on Central Vietnam’s Son Tra Peninsula. The stunning property is divided into four levels, Heaven, Sky, Earth and Sea, which are linked by a funicular railway that rises up the forested hillside.


Kids receive a VIP Kids Explorer Passport on check-in and if they complete all the activities, at the end of their stay they get to take home a cuddly douc langur monkey toy.


Planet Trekkers Kids’ Club is designed for guests under 12 years and has a rotating schedule of fun activities. There’s also a dedicated kids’ pool and the nearby kids’ bar serves ice creams and mocktails. Down on the beach, hotel staff are ready with sunscreen and baskets of beach toys.


Early morning nature tours with the resort’s resident zoologist take in the macaques and red-shanked douc langurs that hang-out around the property.

The breathtaking pool at Sheraton Grand Danang Resort is one of the longest in Southeast Asia and runs the full length of the landscaped gardens from the main hotel building all the way to the beach. It’s great for a workout and there’s also a smaller, child-friendly splash pool.


Kids can take advantage of the outdoor playpark and there’s an air conditioned indoor kids’ club with toys and games; useful for littlies wanting to cool off from the heat.


Accommodation is generously-sized with gleaming marble bathrooms and private balconies.


The hotel is around half-an-hour from the heritage city of Hoi An.
