Famous for fish sauce, pepper and pearls, Phu Quoc (pronounced 'foo kwok') is Vietnam’s largest island and similar in size to Thailand's Phuket. It falls under a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, boasting pristine white-sand beaches, mountains and hiking trails through the forests and jungle. Unsurprisingly, it's a fast-emerging holiday destination for the region and has heaps to recommend it for a memorable family holiday. These are the best luxury family resorts in Phu Quoc.

Set on the palm-fringed sands of Phu Quoc’s west coast, Regent Phu Quoc is a haven for families. The resort offers a huge range of activities for toddlers to tweens, with a generous kids’ club, Regent Kids.
The club has both indoor and outdoor areas with age-appropriate activities in a light and bright space. There’s a playground and treehouse with a slide and dedicated zones for play, from old-school picture books, Lego bricks, drawing and craft to computer consoles and a movie area.
Regent Kids is open daily for four to 12 year olds; toddlers are welcome but must be accompanied.
Outdoor fun includes Vietnamese language classes, island explorations, treasure hunts, Koi fish-feeding, watersports, beach volleyball and kite flying.

The lemon-themed kids’ club is open daily from 9am to 6pm with board games, arts and crafts, movies and physical activities like hula hoop competitions.
