Cathay Pacific's new Aria Suite
Cathay Pacific has officially unveiled its new Aria Suite business class product.
One of the airline’s retrofitted Boeing 777 debuted the new suite this week on the Hong Kong to Beijing service. The suites will be progressively rolled out on all 777s by 2027, with the Hong Kong to London route tipped to receive its retrofit by January 2025.
The new cabins were launched at a ceremony at Hong Kong Airport this week attended by Cathay staff and media. Premium Economy and Economy cabins have also had a refresh.
The new-look suites include a larger, 24” 4K screen, wireless charging port, customisable lighting, a sliding privacy door, lavatory occupancy indicators and Bamford wellness products in amenity kits.
The Aria Suite cabin upgrade will be followed by a refresh of economy cabins on Cathay’s Boeing 777-300ERs. New-look first class cabins will then be deployed on Boeing 777-9s and a brand new flat-bed will be introduced in business cabins on Airbus A330s.
“To solidify our role in both the industry and the community, we’ve committed a significant investment of more than HK$100 billion over the next seven years into our fleet, cabin products, lounges, digital and sustainability leadership, reflecting our confidence in Hong Kong’s long-term growth and its position as a key player in global aviation,” said Cathay Group chief customer and commercial officer Lavinia Lau.
