Champagne flows as Emirates reopens first class lounge

Welcome back - Emirates has reopened its first class lounge at Dubai airport.

Travel finally seems to be 'back in the room' as Emirates reopens its first class lounge at Dubai International Airport, with an extensive menu and multiple champagne vintages.

The space is located at concourse B and will complement the business class lounge which has remained operational since July 2020 for first and business class travellers and eligible Skywards members.

Standout amenities at the revamped lounge include complimentary facial treatments at Timeless Spa, no fewer than four champagne vintages at the Moet & Chandon bar and complimentary services at Shoeshine by Mr Cobbler.

Emirates took the opportunity during the lounge’s closure to refresh the dining, rest and social areas and there’s now an extensive menu boasting 55 dishes, including vegan and gluten-free options. Highlights include char-grilled wagyu burger, 72-hour braised beef short ribs, foie gras terrine, Black Angus tenderloin and the traditional Emirati breakfast.

The lounge also offers weary travellers from different time zones all-day breakfast and lunch options plus a selection of ice creams and mocktails.

The reopening of the first class lounge is the latest in a phased return to normal as ground services are gradually restored. They include the return of complimentary Chauffeur Drive in 70 cities and Emirates Lounge operations in Dubai, Cairo, New York JFK, Manchester, Boston, Milan and Los Angeles.
