Flagship resort Hilton Maldives Amingiri to open

There's a warm welcome in the Maldives at Hilton Maldives Amingiri.

A new Hilton resort will be throwing open its doors in the Maldives later this year.

Hilton Maldives Amingiri marks the entry of Hilton’s flagship Hilton Hotels & Resorts brand into the Maldives and will be Hilton’s fourth property in the country. Existing resorts include Waldorf Astoria Maldives Ithaafushi, Conrad Maldives Rangali Island and SAii Lagoon Maldives, Curio Collection by Hilton.

The new property is located in the Male atoll and just a fifteen minute speedboat ride from Velana International Airport.

The luxe property counts 109 ‘well-spaced’ beach and water villas with private pools, a six-bedroom villa, a resort pool, spa, fitness centre and salon amongst its amenities.

Relaxed all-day dining at Habitat.

No fewer than six dining spaces will be serving a variety of international cuisines throughout the day. Kids are well catered for with the teens-only Re-Fuel, which has a secret, speakeasy-style entrance via the Kids’ Club and a rooftop deck with a specially curated ‘teen-friendly’ menu. Meanwhile, parents can slip off to adults-only Eden, a bar specialising in champagne and gin-based drinks, and Habitat, the resort’s all-day dining restaurant.

“We are thrilled to be seeing our flagship brand represented in the Maldives,” said Alexandra Jaritz of Hilton, Asia Pacific. “We look forward to providing the perfect setting for families and friends to reconnect and make new travel memories when the resort debuts in the coming months.”

All beach villas boast private pools.

The new resort will feature Hilton CleanStay, Hilton’s enhanced cleanliness and disinfection standard which has been rolled out across all Hilton properties globally.
