Discovery Bay is offering free ferry tickets this month
Catch a ferry to Discovery Bay and return home for free with the special Discovery Bay Spend and Ride promotion this month.
The ‘Spend & Ride’ offer enables visitors to redeem a free ride back to Hong Kong’s Central Ferry Piers if they make a same-day purchase at an eligible restaurant, shop, Auberge Discovery Bay Hong Kong restaurant or bar or DB Ice Rink.
In order to qualify for the free ferry ride back to Central, visitors must spend a designated amount at an eligible merchant. When claiming your free ride, you must be able to produce a proof of purchase for the same day as your ticket and a valid Octopus card. Once redeemed, the ferry ticket must be used within two hours.
And while you’re enjoying Discovery Bay, don’t miss the latest restaurant openings including Spicy Tiger serving Sichuan-style dishes and The Sunset Bay with western classics like handmade Italian pizzas, French seafood and Spanish plates. Both restaurants are located on level one of D’Deck.
Discovery Bay has recently revealed new transportation options with a new ferry stop at DB North Plaza on Sundays and public holidays, a new airport bus stop at the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Hong Kong Port and free ferry rides for children until March 23 on designated weekend ferries. Free bus rides from Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Hong Kong Port to Discovery Bay are available from now until March 23 on routes DB02R and DB02A.
The Discovery Bay mobile app will launch later this month, enabling users to access Discovery Bay transport information, events listings and promotional offers.
Discovery Bay is located on Hong Kong's Lantau Island and with beaches, shops, dining and an Ice Rink is a popular destination on weekends and holidays. Head to Central Ferry Piers and hop on a ferry from Central Pier 3.
