Galaxy Macau boasts the world's longst Skytop Adventure Rapids
Galaxy Macau has revealed its super-fun Grand Resort Deck will be back open for the summer later this month.
The attraction features the world’s longest Skytop Adventure Rapids at 575m above ground level. Splash your way along the lazy river-style ride that winds its way around the Grand Resort Deck through see-through tubes and down transparent slides suspended in mid-air.
And don’t miss the huge Skytop Wave Pool with 1.5m artificial waves and a 150m white sand waterside ‘beach’. Plus there’s a nine-metre waterslide tower and youngsters haven’t been forgotten with dedicated kids’ zones.
The Grand Resort Deck will open on April 18 and this year will be extending its opening hours to 8pm; as the sun sets, resident DJs will move the pool party from day to night. During Easter and Labour Day Golden Week, there will be daily afternoon carnivals at the deck with egg painting workshops, bunny face art stations and beachside games.
Galaxy Macau’s children’s club, Galaxy Kidz, will also be laying on plenty of fun workshops this spring, from painting, sand art and puzzle-making to STEAM experiments, spring wreath crafting and cooking and gardening classes. Special Easter activities will include egg painting and clay flower sculpting. And every Friday to Sunday throughout April, including the Labour Day Holiday in the first week of May, resort mascot Wavey will greet young guests in hotel lobbies and lead a hotel parade in the evenings.
Access to the Grand Resort Deck and to the Galaxy Kidz programme is available to guests staying at one of Galaxy Macau’s eight hotels, including Banyan Tree Macau, Galaxy Hotel, Hotel Okura Macau, JW Marriott Hotel Macau and Andaz Macau.
