Enjoy Green Day live at Galaxy Arena Macau
Five years after Green Day was forced to cancel their 2020 tour, the punk rock icons are set to rock Macau when they take the stage at Galaxy Arena on February 9.
With hits like 'Basket Case', 'Good Riddance' and 'Wake Me Up When September Ends', the rockers who call themselves 'God’s favourite band' were the soundtrack to the nineties and naughties, selling more than 70 million records globally and racking up more than 10 billion listens across various streaming platforms.
This year, the boys are out to prove that they’re back in the game with their brand new album, 'Saviours', while also taking a 'Holiday' back in time as they celebrate the 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of their landmark 2004 album 'American Idiot', which was released last year.
The concert in Macau is the first on the Asian leg of Green Day’s 'The Saviours Tour', which will also see the band entertain crowds of fans across the region in cities like Bangkok, Jakarta, Osaka, Nagoya, Melbourne, Sydney and India. It also marks their first Asia-Pacific stadium tour since 2010’s '21st Century Breakdown World Tour'.
