Hong Kong Airlines will be adding two new servives to its schedule
Hong Kong Airlines is launching brand new daily flight services to Danang on Vietnam’s east coast and Taichung in Taiwan.
The daily Danang service will start on July 19. Flight HX548 will take-off from Hong Kong at 2.40pm, landing in Danang at 3.30pm. The return flight, HX549, will leave Danang at 4.30pm, arriving back in Hong Kong at 7.20pm.
Danang is a popular holiday destination. Miles of sandy beaches stretch from the city of Danang to the UNESCO listed heritage city of Hoi An.
Hong Kong Airlines says it is committed to exploring more potential hotspots for travellers with the introduction of the Danang route, expanding the airline’s network in Southeast Asia and reinforcing support for China's Belt and Road initiative, of which Vietnam is poised to benefit.
Hong Kong Airlines will also be launching a direct daily service with Taichung, Taiwan, starting on July 19. The timing of this new route will be integrated with the airline’s existing four daily flights between Hong Kong and Taipei, one of the world’s busiest flight routes.
Flight HX290 will take-off from Hong Kong at 9.30am, arriving in Taichung at 11.10am on Monday to Saturday, with a Sunday flight taking off at 10am and landing at 11.10am. The return flight, HX291, leaves Taichung at 12.10pm, landing back in Hong Kong at 1.50pm on Monday to Saturday. There will be no return flight on Sundays.
Bookings for both routes are available online now.
