Hong Kong’s summer spa packages are up and running after more than a month of closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
To welcome back their loyal customers, many of the city’s wellness destinations have put together exclusive offers, discounts and treatments – and they’re certainly worth checking out.
To continue curbing the spread of coronavirus, most spas have still not opened their heat and water facilities, but you can still nip in for a menu of indulgent treatments.
Spa at The Four Seasons
This sophisticated oasis of wellness has several exciting offers available just in time for summer. Most of us pay attention to the skin on our face, but what about our backs? If you’re planning to hit the beach this season, you’ll want to book in for the new Back Facial ($2,150-$3,3100). The deeply cleansing treatment will thoroughly refresh with a clean, steam, exfoliation, peel, and extraction.
The spa is also offering private Vibrational Sound Therapy sessions (30-minutes; $880) which incorporate Tibetan singing bowls and gongs. If you want the full experience, book the new Wellness Staycation package which includes a 15-minute sound therapy session along with a 60-minute energizing massage, 20-minute Shirodhara, and 10 minutes of Reiki healing.
The Peninsula Spa at The Peninsula
This is consistently named one of the best spas in Hong Kong, so it’s no surprise that this sophisticated spot has put together a great package for its grand reopening.
The Spa Birthday Pamper is the ultimate treat for your special day and is available from now right through until December 31.
The package includes a 75-minute Aromatherapy Massage ($1,680-$1,780) plus use of the spa’s lavish heat and water facilities that include Thermal Suites with harbour views, a sauna and crystal steam room, and the Asian Tea Lounge.
For an additional $288, you can also enjoy a Natural Peninsula Poolside Lunch at the hotel’s chic pool deck.
If you’re really looking to treat yourself, though, upgrade your package to the premium option ($2,280-$2,380) which includes a 75-minute Aromatherapy Massage and a three-course Contemporary European dinner at Felix by chef Juan Gomez.
P.S. We hear The Peninsula Spa will be debuting more exciting offerings later this year…stay tuned!
