Hong Kong Disneyland has unveiled a brand new Spider Man Marvel attraction that is set to be launched at its Lantau-based park.
The Marvel-themed attraction will feature as part of the extended Tomorrowland zone at the park and is the third major Marvel addition.
The teaser was dropped by a US Disney executive during an event in California earlier this month. More details about the attraction, including when it will open, are yet to be revealed.
In a statement, Hong Kong Disneyland confirmed that “the most brilliant minds from the Avengers are working together and bringing new pavilions to the Stark Expo to showcase their most recent inventions and technologies. Peter Parker (aka Spider Man), the newest Stark Industries intern, is among one of them and will also be the host to demonstrate the latest breakthrough.”
The mysteriously-worded statement added that the presence of Spider Man would also attract “one of the most formidable villains, who wreaks havoc at the scene.”
When launched, this will be the third major addition to the Marvel experience in Tomorrowland and will also include new shopping and dining offerings.
The most recent major expansion at Hong Kong Disneyland was the opening of the world of Frozen last November.
