Panda Go! Fest HK comes to Hong Kong

Panda Go! Fest HK

Panda Power at Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui

Two-and-half-thousand pandas landed in Hong Kong this month as part of Panda Go! Fest HK, Hong Kong’s largest panda sculpture exhibition.

The exhibition tour began at Hong Kong International Airport where the cute creatures posed in front of a Cathay Pacific aircraft before moving on to Avenue of Stars in Tsim Sha Tsui for the official event launch. The exhibition will spend the next few weeks touring Hong Kong landmarks, including Ngong Ping 360 cable car ride in Lantau, Ocean Park and Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park on the Hong Kong Island harbourfront.

The pandas are designed by creative brand AllRightsReserved (ARR) in collaboration with Hollywood modelling company, Zeppet. They have been created using recycled materials and are inspired by the real-life pandas that live at Hong Kong’s Ocean Park, including two giant pandas that were transported to Hong Kong and their new home at Ocean Park by Cathay Pacific earlier this year.

Panda Go! Fest HK features eight giant panda designs and six Hong Kong-exclusive designs. Hong Kongers are invited to experience the panda sculptures at the various locations across town, with the exhibition experience adjusted according to the location and display space.

Panda Go! Fest HK, Ngong Ping 360, 11am to 5pm, December 14 to 15; Ocean Park, 10am to 7pm, December 21 to 22; and Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park, 11am to 8pm, December 25 to 26.
