Pre-launch offer at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon

Take it easy at The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon.

A brand new Asian flagship hotel in Bangkok has opened bookings for a pre-launch, 25% discount offer.

The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon will open later this spring and is described as a “feast for the senses”, with dining, entertainment, retail and wellness offerings. It is the latest addition to hospitality group The Standard’s global portfolio.

The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon is slated to open in the Thai capital on May 11, complementing flagship properties The Standard, High Line, in the US and The Standard, London in Europe. Further properties in the group include waterside retreats in Miami, the Maldives, and Hua Hin, and another Standard hotel will be opening in Ibiza later this spring.

The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon is located in Bangkok’s central business district in the King Power Mahanakhon Building, a mixed-use high-rise development. It is also close to Bangkok’s Old Town and cultural attractions.

“We love the energy, style and culture Bangkok offers and couldn’t be more proud to partner with King Power to open our flagship for the region in this awe-inspiring building, in this incredible city,” said Amar Lalvani, executive chairman for Standard International.

The 155-room property has been designed by Spanish artist Jaime Hayon in collaboration with The Standard’s in-house design team; think vibrant colours, evolving art installations and lush greenery.

Facilities include an outdoor terrace pool, what is being touted as the most advanced gym in Bangkok, plus dining spaces which include Thailand’s first Mott 32. The rooftop will be home to Ojo, a Mexican-themed restaurant with sweeping views of the city. The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon will also offer a ground level shop carrying curated collections of fashion, travel and homeware products.

The pre-opening offer is available now and includes a 25% discount on the best available rate with breakfast for two. Bookings can be made online until July 31 for stays between May 11, 2022, and February 28, 2023.
