Passengers will be offered two flights a day between Gatwick and Doha.
Qatar Airways has confirmed it will be resuming its service with London Gatwick Airport this summer.
The airline will operate a daily service between Doha and Gatwick from June 5 using a Boeing 787 Dreamliner. This will of course mean increased connectivity with the UK for residents of Singapore and Hong Kong and marks the 25th anniversary of Qatar Airways starting flights with London.
The service will complement a recently launched raft of flights to Doha from Gatwick by Qatar’s partner airline, British Airways. This will mean passengers can choose from a five-times daily service from London Heathrow, an 18-times weekly service from Manchester and a daily service from Edinburgh. The twice daily flights from Gatwick will include one Qatar Airways flight and one British Airways flight.
Students flying with Qatar Airways can take advantage of a ten per cent discount on flights if paying with Mastercard and using the promotional code ‘MASTERCARD’. And students who are members of Qatar Airways Student Club are offered special fares, additional luggage allowance, date change flexibility and complimentary Super Wi-fi.
