Excitement is building for Universal Studios Singapore's reopening on July 1.
Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will be welcoming guests back from July 1 following Singapore’s move into Phase Two of its post-pandemic reopening.
The Sentosa Development Corporation has been easing restrictions since June 19, when Sentosa’s beaches and nature trails were reopened for residents.
All areas of Fort Siloso and the Fort Siloso Skywalk are now open to the public again.
Big ticket attractions including Universal Studios Singapore, SEA Aquarium and Madame Tussaud’s Singapore will open on Wednesday (July 1).
“We cannot wait to have visitors walk through our gates,” said RWS in a statement.
RWS’s casino will also reopen on Wednesday, but with reduced capacity. It will be welcoming existing Genting Rewards members and Annual Levy Holders only at this time.
Masks will be mandatory on the island, except while eating, drinking or engaging in strenuous exercising. Visitors are also recommended to use the SafeEntry contact tracing app to check in and out of attractions, including on beaches and nature trails.
RWS will be adhering to Safe Entry, Safe Experience and Safe Environment guidelines to ensure guests are protected at every step of their visit. The resort will be kept to the hygiene standards outlined in the city’s SG Clean certification, an initiative that was introduced by Singapore’s National Environment Agency in February.
All guests, including annual and seasonal pass holders, will need to book tickets online in advance of their visit.
