Oman’s Six Senses Zighy Bay is celebrating its reopening with discounts on holiday bookings and new kids’ club offerings.
Flanked between a gently shelving bay and the stunning rugged mountains of Oman’s Musandam Peninsula, Six Senses Zighy Bay boasts luxury accommodation and a family-friendly vibe.
Hallmarks of a Six Senses Zighy Bay holiday are adventure-filled days - think water sports, wadi swimming and village treks - followed by starry Arabian nights.
“We’re eager to share our newest offerings with our guests,” said Six Senses Zighy Bay general manager Andrew Spearman. “From our private pool villas to our farm, restaurants and spa, we’ve invested all our efforts in helping guests reconnect with what matters following a tumultuous year. And we’re doing it in a bespoke, Omani-inspired way that cannot be replicated anywhere else.”
Indeed Six Senses Zighy Bay is perhaps the only resort in the world where arriving guests are invited to paraglide into reception.

The new activity menu for kids, Grow With Six Senses, looks certain to peel children away from their screens with ‘fizzy-ology’, eco-craft projects in the Earth Lab, Bedouin henna play, basic Arabic fun and feeding the Zighy goats. Older kids can try their hand at archery, abseiling, bungee trampolining, survival skills, photography lessons and mountain biking.
Families can also set sail on the resort’s Dhabab, cruising the Musandam fjords over three days and stopping at traditional fishing villages along the way. Enjoy kayaking, fishing, swimming and star gazing. Diving and cooking classes can also be arranged.
Early bird bookings of 60 days or more in advance for Six Senses Zighy Bay will receive ten per cent off the Best Flexible Rate.
