Water World Ocean Park is back

Let the fun begin at Water World Ocean Park.

Water World Ocean Park will be back in business from May 14.

Get ready to splash down this summer as the park reopens following the lifting of Covid restrictions in Hong Kong this month.

Ticket sales and online reservations will resume on the Water World Ocean Park website from 5pm on May 6 and all visitors must book their trip in advance online. Admission costs from HK$318 for adults and HK$223 for children.

If you’re holding onto unused tickets valid from January 6 to May 13, they can be exchanged online for a current one-day entry pass until October 31.

Of course a number of Covid health and safety measures will be in place at the water park. All visitors must scan their LeaveHomeSafe QR code to enter the park and over 12s must present either a vaccine pass or medical exemption certificate with a QR code. All park guides will undergo daily rapid antigen (lateral flow) tests during the reopening period and the park will monitor water quality continuously.

Water World Ocean Park opened in the autumn of 2021 but was forced to close its doors earlier this year in line with stringent government Covid regulations as Hong Kong underwent a ‘fifth wave’ of the pandemic. Infections are now falling and all pools and beaches are due to reopen on May 5. Masks will no longer have to be worn for outdoor exercise.
